I hear him curse

I try and hide
from his evil eyes

He finds me weeping
he shouts ugly words,

that he suffers at work.

He slaps me and hits me
and yells at me more,

and I run for the door. He's already locked it

he takes me and throws me
against the hard wall.

with more bad words spoken.

'I'm sorry!' I scream
but its now much too late
his face has been twisted
into unimaginable hate.

The hurt and the pain

oh please God, have mercy!
oh please let it end!

And he finally stops
and heads for the door,
while I lay there motionless
sprawled on the floor.

murdered me.
There are thousands of kids out there just like Sarah. And you can help

It sickens me to my soul, and if you just read this and don't pass it on I pray for your forgiveness, because you would have to be one heartless person to not be affected by this email. And because you are affected, do something about it!! So all I am asking you to do is take some time to send this on and acknowledge that this stuff does happen, and that people like her dad do live in our society, and pray for child abuse to wither out and die, but also pray for the safety of our youth.



Please pass this poem on as a Blue Ribbon Against Child Abuse because, as crazy as it might sound, it might just indirectly change a life.

We've got a great show for a great cause coming up this Saturday at Hemingways in the Kroger shopping center in Irmo.

If you haven't heard or read about Crystal Black yet, please take a moment to read about the recent events.

Starting at 12:30pm in the afternoon you'll get 6 bands.

Right Now on august15 the plan is four bands are scheduled to play All day at Hemingway's in Irmo,
They will be selling plates of food with all the proceeds going to The Crystal Black fund. There will be Games and Raffles From what I understand .
A poker run is in the works as well more details as all of this unfolds .
This past Saturday July 18th Family and Friends held a huge yard sale at the Dam Bar and Grill and raised $2300.00 Way to go Guys

A Midlands family is asking for your help after a tragic Fourth of July accident left a 26-year-old mother paralyzed.

It's been a little over a week since Crystal Black dove into a pool and broke her neck. Her brother Leon Black says she's doing better everyday, but that they still need a miracle to get her the help she needs.

"He's going through basically the same thing I felt like we did growing up. He lost his dad and now his mom's... He's not gonna lose her, but still, I know what kind of affect this is gonna have on his life," Leon says of his 5-year-old nephew, Drake.

Since July 4th, two people have occupied his thoughts - his sister Crystal and her son Drake. "She had dove into the pool to rinse the oil off of her and she hit her head some kind of way," he describes the accident.

Crystal is still in the ICU, at first listed as a quadriplegic, but slowly regaining some use of her arms. "She told them, 'Call 911. Something's wrong, I can't feel my legs and my shoulders are on fire," he explains.

For Leon, it's another blow to his sister's life, one that he feels has already seen too many. "Our parents died when I was 8 and I think she was 10," he says, "We went to live with our grandparents and they died right around when I was 15 and I think she might have been 16."

Then, when Crystal was eight months pregnant with Drake, his father was killed in a car accident. Says Leon, "Drake, he knows something's wrong because he's never away from his mama and he hasn't been able to see his mama."

The family knows they'll have to tell him eventually, but are hoping for a more positive outlook when they do. "I could read her lips and she told me, 'I'm ready for physical therapy.' She needs to heal more, she's not. But she's strong and she wants to get out of this," he says, "I want her to walk. I want her to get back to her son and to continue the life that she had cause she was doing great."

The family wants to send Crystal to the Sheppard's Clinic in Atlanta, one of the best in the country for spine injuries.

Unfortunately, Crystal doesn't have health insurance and the clinic doesn't accept medicaid. They have applied for a scholarship, but no word yet on when they'll hear back.

The Old Columbia Speedway will come to life with a FREE event celebrating the history of a Cayce landmark on April 25th. The Columbia Speedway opened in 1948 and ran continuously through the early 1970's. Many of Stock Car racing legends cut their teeth on the half mile located on Hwy 321. The King Richard Petty recorded his first win at the track in convertible race. Over 20 historic drivers will be on hand to sign autographs and conduct live interviews. David Pearson, Dave Marcus, Bud Moore among others will be there to greet fans and tell classic stories about the old speedway. There will be a large car show of vintage stock cars that ran at Columbia as well as a large custom car show. The most unique part of this event is that it occurs inside the old track.

The Rock is Rolling with the Wheel Once Again

for A child recently in Icu with a respiratory illness,
The Group also Gave two girls a Christmas they would never
forget with a shopping spree Complete with a Chauffeured
Limo Donated for the event by Topp limo services,
The group has assisted LETR/Special Olympics Events as well for
the Special Olympics Worlds largest Truck convoy,
and a car show.

The group is trying to raise funds so that we can get some things we need to pull off these big events as well as raise money to help many more families and children in need.we hope to sell 500 plates, A portion of this money will go to a fallen friends family Tank you looked out for us now hopefully we can repay the favor,If we can sell all 500 plates we will donate $500 to Tanks family to use as they see fit .

Dinners include BBQ pulled pork or BBQ chicken leg

A letter of thanks from Dylan's Grandmother

You are so sweet and wonderful. I am constantly trying to think of a way (large enough) to thank you and the wheel. With the BBQ and donations, it totaled over $1600. YOU GO, WHEEL! My daughter has set up a savings account for Dylan to put the money in for medical bill paying. This has helped them so much - you will never know. I knew BBQ was gonna be a good seller but Dayyyuuumm... They went crazy Like pizza hut on super bowl Sunday !
over 1500.00 raised plus cost das a whole lot of BBQ !

January's Meet and Greet will be at Steve's in South Congaree on the 24th I'm gonna move the start time up on this one to 3pm as some of our members don't like to drive in the dark .

BBQ Dinner Fund Raiser For 7 Yr old Dylan Freeland at the Rock Sports Bar and Grill Jan 25th

Will host a BBQ dinner to benefit a Family whose 7 year old child has a respiratory illness that has put the child in ICU .
The Family has insurance But as we all know ICU bills can be staggering even with insurance .
We learned of this child last night when we went out to The Rock for a small gathering
We will assist in doing BBQ dinners 5.00 A plate
We have changed cooks a patron at the bar has a pull behind BBQ pit So He will be doing the BBQ It's Real pit BBQ Cooked and ya know it's gonna be good and the Bar will handle the fixins slaw and baked beans And hush puppies along with Hash and Rice are the sides.
